Individual Counseling
Cassie serves individuals 10 and up. Using an evidenced based, trauma informed, modality, to aid in healing and restoration for anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, panic, PTSD, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem, and body image issues.
If you feel like there is no one there, I am here and ready to help you find the best you possible. I work with individuals who face day-to-day challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, past hurts, and current stressors. I want to be there for you, hear your story, and help you find healing. My approach is to help individuals heal from the inside out. Using Internal Family Systems, I will help guide clients to explore their internal feelings, emotions, experiences, and belief systems. Throughout our journey through life we will walk through all types of experiences that create “parts” of us that help us manage life through coping, avoiding, or numbing. Together we will understand each “part” while exploring your emotions and feelings while seeking to find why they are there and how we can help you find the authentic healing and wholeness you desire. Together we will learn to create boundaries, control emotions, and develop skills that will help you to not only manage but thrive in your life. We will face previous memories and moments that are holding you back from reaching your goals. Together we will work to increase your confidence, courage, desire, and understanding to help you to become more present, engaged, and joyful in your life.
Individualized counseling services are provided to address a wide variety of issues that an individual faces. Services are conducted face to face in a private, confidential setting. Services begin with an assessment in order to collect needed background information such as medical history, education history, employment history, history of symptoms, other previous attempts at treatment and other information to assist your Practitioner in developing a plan for treatment. Part of every individualized service delivery is a plan for treatment that is typically developed by the fourth counseling session. The plan for treatment is completed with the individual in order to guide the goals and objectives that the individual hopes to achieve throughout counseling. As sessions progress, the plan for treatment can be altered and changed to reflect changes in goals, or to be updated with more current information related to symptoms, concerns, or problems to be addressed. The plan for treatment is constantly changing in relation to an individual’s progress, symptoms and speed of recovery.

Individualized services can occur in several different timed sessions and at different times on different days to afford the individual with flexibility for scheduling. There is no pre-determined length of treatment for individuals who participate in counseling services. The length of time for treatment, along with the frequency of services is determined by the individual, as well as their Practitioner. Discharge from services only occurs upon agreement between the individual and Practitioner. Discharge planning is completed in order to secure a plan for success for each individual after services have concluded.
